Seeing as it was bought just after WW2, I doubt they still work there.

More like supporting his nightmares.
Hell, even if you could find someone to handle it fairly, it would just be a matter of time until someone subverted that organization for their own purposes. If there’s power to be wielded, someone will abuse it.
“Those who want to burn books are either afraid of the ideas contained within the covers or they haven’t the courage to stand up for the views which they themselves profess to hold.”
-Tommy Douglas
Speech, Saskatchewan Legislature, February 17, 1954.
Nice that they took the time to respond. I expect they’re getting a lot of offers from people who want to help them replace books.
We did fluoride treatments but only at semi-annual dental checkups. It was a thick gel that they put in trays and we had to keep them in our mouths for a couple minutes. You had to lean over a sink and let any saliva just drip out because you weren’t supposed to swallow any of it.
But I also was trained from an early age to brush with fluoride toothpaste every night before bed, so…
Something something planned obsolescence?
So much for protecting the poor unborn children.
This shit is dystopian, but I have to admit that I’m mildly relieved to see these videos of crowds forming to yell at the thugs and get in their way. It gives me some small amount of hope.
Just in case you’re serious: The 747 literally predates Airbus. The first ones rolled off the assembly line in 1968 and are a product of a time when Boeing was run by engineers that actually cared about quality and safety. Airbus was officially established in 1970.
“Well, your honor, the president’s mouth was moving. I’ll let you draw your own conclusion.”
We just got a good deal on a used Kia Niro EV. Pretty happy with it so far.
This would come closest to an actual incentive. Babies are not a one time expense.
You’d also have to subsidize childcare. It’s crazy expensive.
“what if your future husband wants children”
“Then he shouldn’t be marrying someone without a uterus” would be the logical response. Sorry you had to go through that bullshit.
If it makes you feel any better, my wife and I were both 40 and already had two healthy kids in elementary school when I got a consultation for a vasectomy. They still made me do everything short of swear on a bible that I wasn’t going to change my mind before they would agree to do it. They insisted that my wife come in with me and sign a document affirming her agreement with the procedure before they would schedule it. Then they made us both give verbal and written agreement AGAIN right before they started. It was nuts (pardon the pun).
“The mission of the Voting Rights Section of the DOJ Civil Rights Division is to ensure free, fair, and honest elections unmarred by fraud, errors, or suspicion,” the mission statement declares.
Funny. It seems to me that they are the ones who have been busily spreading suspicion about all the elections, despite every single investigation resulting in the finding that no, there is no widespread fraud going on.
The people that voted for him didn’t forget anything. They believe the lies. They want the malice. Just go watch some interviews of random supporters at his rallies. They are ignorant and unwilling to accept evidence in front of their faces.
Trump has made it quite clear he doesn’t give a shit about the UN.
Most states don’t have mandatory sick leave, and there is no federal requirement. Here in WA we just got it in 2018. Before that it was up to each employer to decide if they wanted to offer it.
