Ford (F.N) is recalling 29,501 vehicles in the U.S. due to a detached control arm that can cause a loss of vehicle steering and control, increasing the risk of a crash, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said on Saturday.
The automaker is recalling certain 2024-2025 F-150 Lightning BEV vehicles, NHTSA said.

Why doesn’t people in the EU want to buy American vehicles?! Okay, to be fair, we wouldn’t want to buy F-150’s regardless. They’re twice as broad as the average European road and more than double the height of a unwary kinder-gardener as it is.
This means the likely payout of lawsuits exceed Ford’s acceptable cost of doing business.
