In particular fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) are a major element in almost everybody’s life and can be used to send a very strong signal. Imagine if all rural stores in a particular area started only selling European stuff. We need those providers here and have a solid business plan for them to adopt such goods, it needs to be economically feasible
I’m not sure if we have such individuals. Though I do like the idea.
We’re currently highlighting the European brands that do exist so we can increase the demand from the bottom up, to increase the pressure on our representatives and large companies to buy local.
Is this where citizens start an initiative to stop buying US goods for national security? I’d sign it in a heartbeat.
I don’t think so. But right now we’re trying to encourage people to buy European as much as possible.
