As the title says I’m curious what quality people choose. I chose Ultra-HD and am a little stunned when I look at the file sizes for some movies at 100GB.

Another question is how can I change the quality and will Radarr remove the existing download and then get a smaller one?

If it helps I have a GPU capable of hardware transcoding.

Generally 1080p and around 2-4GB per hour is my go-to. Less bitrate starts to show very obvious problems with darker areas so I avoid it.

On an unrelated note… do you guys all have private trackers? I haven’t used one since the days of baconbits - now I’m in the market again because $24/month for netflix is ridiculous.

I don’t personally need ultra high quality movies. I just don’t see the difference. I go for the 2-3GB size. YIFY has been my go-to for years.

It works with upgrade until. If you have a BluRay 2160p right now, it won’t re-download a BluRay 1080p if you change the profile.

You can state wanted and max file sizes per format.
