Why? So you can get them all on one place for easier identification and later arrest?
You think we had fair elections? We vote through an electoral college designed specifically to be a backdoor that can be used to over rule the popular vote. And then there’s gerrymandering.
Ask their government to sanction Ecuador and Bukele. If the Donvict administration doesn’t have a foreign torture prison to traffic people to, it will slow down their plans.
The sad reality of audio software has been that usually the paid commercial software is better and more reliable. I’ve used Audacity alot for work, and it gets it the job done, but tools like iZotope RX are light years beyond in features and UI/UX.
This graphic is missing Bitwig in the AU section. Definitely worth mentioning since it runs on Linux/OS X/Win.
The headline is terribly written click-bait that doesn’t have much to do with the reality of the situation. This is just another case of an open source dev backing off of a project because they’ve busy with life.

Trump’s answer, however, may simply be demanding that Apple brings production home.
At present only a small number of high-end Mac computers are made in America. The president would see it as a vindication of his policies if the stamp on the back of the iPhone said: “Designed by Apple in California, made in America.”
Zetter says there is no chance of that. “There is no single location in the Americas that can amass a workforce of 800,000-plus like Foxconn can in China,” he says. “Apple currently has extremely limiting options beyond exemptions and negotiations.”
This is gonna be like watching a slow motion car crash.
I waited 8 years for fiber where I live, and I even went door to door telling my whole neighborhood that there was a cheaper, faster alternative to Comcast, and all we had to do was sign up. When it was finally getting it installed, the technician told me that our neighborhood only got fiber because a local criminal organization had bought a couple cherry pickers and was stripping the copper from pole to pole.
Apparently it takes someone stealing the copper repeatedly before the telcos will invest a dime on upgrades.
