Geodad@lemm.eeto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Are you banned from somewhere fun (casino, theme park, resort, cruise, etc)?English33·2 days agoI’m banned from a local martial arts dojo. The soke always told the same stories about his teachers and also has a rule that he won’t teach anyone with a criminal record.
I did some digging on one of his teachers and found that he killed someone in cold blood and took a plea that threw his teacher under the bus. His teacher was convicted of murder and the soke’s teacher was convicted of manslaughter for his role.
I called him out for being a hypocrite because he won’t teach criminals, but has no problem being a student of a criminal.
He sent me an email telling me that I was no longer welcome in his class.

Been on Debian ever since, except for 1 netbook that I keep using Kali - which I used in the Backtrack days.
Oh, I have read about the mob.
