To be honest I don’t watch a lot of Netflix myself, I paid the service because my mom liked watching it, and stuff like stremio was a little too complicated for her to use; But eventually Netflix got so bad, she had to learn to use the small Media PC i setup for her and stremio as well!

I will Avoid Audio books with AI voices. I prefer the warmth of a human voice instead. A lot of my favorite Audiobooks are elevated by the interpretation of the professional actor. I am glad I have never even touched the Audible service, now I never will. I will also never consume anything written by a fucking AI.

The final form of conservative regimes always resorts to imposing religion and rigid moral codes in order to suffocate any form of dissent. Conservatives have been painting themselves as the “rebels” in their manufactured culture wars and the warriors of freeze peach, but in the end it always funnels back to this: Bible authoritarianism. They will use this argument for push for more censorship, information control, stripping away rights and oppressing every community they deem against their dogmas. The writing has been on the wall for a decade now.
I am hoping that America’s new implementation of this “Christian state” proves to be grotesque enough to serve as a warning for the rest of the world that even had the fleeting thought of going down this route. And I while am not very hopeful for Americans, I wish they find the strength to resist and revolt against this movement.

What is more accesible for me at the moment is pointing out that you are really straining this metaphor. This is typical, we are talking about accessibility IN ART and all of the sudden it’s all about living in a shack, skill laborers and the most out there metaphors one could muster!

Ai media generation is not more “accesible” to make art, people don’t need an education to make art. people don’t need technical talent or proficiency to make art. Generative media is a convenient vending machine to churn out something resembling a product. The whole point of our current generative art systems is in making something that has some kind of production or market value without a care of where that content was scraped.
I’m going to argue that stealing and masquerading to manufacture a product is a lot more effort than just picking up a pencil.
