Ontario continually electing the Fords has been one of my life’s great mysteries. It’s like watching a toddler repeatedly touch a hot stove except the burns are privatization, gutted healthcare, and populism that somehow still charms the province.

Internet should be a public utility, not having access to affordable,reliable internet is one of the drivers of inequality and should not be left to corporations acting on the profit motive.

We do a pedestrian mall in our downtown district from June to September. I absolutely love it and it has been a huge driver of local business. I would love to see some of our streets become pedestrian only but that would also mean my town acknowledging that pedestrians deserve a path at all in the winter.

I mean, maybe someone could abuse it but I would rather that then deny someone the right to own their identity.

For the production of the tank itself or the likelihood of environmental impact?

Here is an article about the tank, it appears to still be in the proof of concept stage. As for my conjecture that it would likely have a high carbon impact during production that was based mostly on similar studies ₂ done on the production of cars.

true but we figured out things before like this when computer tech was rapidly changing so I do think it’s possible while definitely having its challenges.

I think EV battery cells should be standardized and modular to reduce difficulty of replacement and make replacements cheaper and more available so that it could extend the useful lifespan of the car. If you could replace your battery with an off the shelf equivalent used EVs would hold a lot more value.

And Hyundai is making hydrogen powered tanks, what a world. I wonder if hydrogen fuels poses any unique risks as compared to petrol.

It’s more and more common to see private religious schools opening up to me and they’ve relaxed how closely they need to follow federal guidance on outcomes. I’m so worried for those children, literally having their future sold away because of a culture war.
