“If you were able to overlook a genocide and cast a vote for Harris, you already know how a conservative was able to overlook Trump’s extremism and vote for him.” – Historian Robin D.G. Kelley

Imagine reading in the future that WWII happened but then for WWIII the USA and Israel were the genocidal baddies who like eugenics.
The US did commit genocides, and until the 1960s it was policy to eradicate indigenous languages and religions.
Time for Aime Ceseare quote:
Yes, it would be worthwhile to study clinically, in detail, the steps taken by Hitler and Hitlerism and to reveal to the very distinguished, very humanistic, very Christian bourgeois of the twentieth century that without his being aware of it, he has a Hitler inside him, that Hitler inhabits him, that Hitler is his demon, that if he rails against him, he is being inconsistent and that, at bottom, what he cannot forgive Hitler for is not crime in itself, the crime against man, it is not the humiliation of man as such, it is the crime against the white man, the humiliation of the white man, and the fact that he applied to Europe colonialist procedures which until then had been reserved exclusively for the Arabs of Algeria, the coolies of India, and the blacks of Africa.
Jobs for Boeing and a new presidential plane not paid for with your tax dollars?
Reading the comments, I’m reminded that whether an Arab country is allied to the US or not, whether it is even subservient to the US or not, matters not. Arab countries will always be seen as adversaries and nefarious.
The door might, but otherwise not much will blow up. It is not a 787 so it doesn’t have fuel cells.
Qatar isn’t known for espionage, and the plane is made by Boeing anyways.
It is made by Boeing, anyone can verify whether it is bugged or not, and Qatar isn’t an adversary. It has a population of 3.6 million, only 19% are citizens, and one of the US’s largest military bases in the region.
Why didn’t they do the same with Trump and made him like a racist stereotype of a white person? Why is the Arab holding Trump not more like the Emir of Qatar who is the intended target and instead purposefully ambiguous and anonymous? The red shemagh isn’t even something commonly worn in Qatar and it is more common in Saudi Arabia. The intention is anti-Arab racism but you are either accepting of it or insensitive to it, proving the point that it is normalized.
Anti-Arab racism is so normalized that you got downvoted for pointing it out
If the person holding Trump was a caricature of an Israeli many would have lost their minds and called it antisemitic. But when it is an Arab no one cares about antisemitism anymore.
There’s a chance your edits won’t propagate to all instances though.
Not necessarily dead internet theory, but I hate how everything seems to be AI generated nowadays. In the past when you search for something you are likely to find an article or a post about it, now it is just AI generated slop.
The US doesn’t really care about journalists, they killed them in Iraq and Afghanistan, and their weapons have killed 215 journalists so far in Palestine. It was always about extracting tributes and concessions from Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia just doesn’t want to be turned into another Iraq or Libya or Syria or Palestine or any country that got on the bad side of the US. The US is known to hold a grudge, just look at the 67-year embargo on Cuba.
By Saudis do you mean all 25 million citizens or just the government?
Mission accomplished
Toyota is Japanese and Alqaeda had more attacks against Saudi Arabia than against the US.
It is not grammar/whatever. They are two very different countries, it is like confusing Britain and France because you think all Europeans are the same.
In Saudi Arabia you can’t be legally married before 18, so that’s effectively the age of consent.
If connections with Iran makes a country an adversary what does that say about the EU? Qatar has relations with Iran because of geographical necessity and due to the Saudi-led Arab embargo which cut off food exports to Qatar forcing them to trade more with Iran.
