It was launched in 2005… literally mid 2000 when delineated by decade
I was on it mid/late 2000s. I dont know when it was formed, but i was definitelt on it around 06
Edit: The internet says it was launched in 03
Now imagine that for 4+ years instead of semester at a time.
I feel like the only way this is possible is some terrible co-op between businesses and colleges that, instead of colleges educating on basics and fundamentals, theyve basically turned university into the on-the-job training you would get as an entry level employee. But now, youre paying for it instead of being paid for it.
He had first year of state tests this year and his oldest tested an entire grade above where she should be. They are enrolled in so many activities (sports, music, cooking classes, etc.) That they get plenty of social interaction and develop their social skills.
I appreciate your uninformed opinion tho
Its worse when youre sick and theyre not! You stand no chance at keeping up
When youre all sick, everyone can do nothing together
Are you paying attention to your 401k? S&P is up ytd. If youre actively paying attention to your 401k, yours should be doing even better than that.
I dont care what side of the political aisle youre on, but your retirement 401k shouldn’t be being deatroyed right now
My buddy does this with 3 kids. Hes been a contractor all his life for start up. Regularly gets equity in the start up. Builds it up, then cashes out.
Works for him as a contractor because he can make his own hours and they home school their kids, so they travel all the time too
I dont know if your location in canada is similar, but i know the mega churches (and some smaller churches) around me have an open door policy and allow anyone to be in their lobby to use their internet during the daylight hours. Some even provide coffee and snacks all day.
Dont know if thats any sort of option for you, and you might have people from the church approaching you at times, but maybe it could have worked out?
As someone who has lost a dog they were really close to, i get it, and i appreciate it. Loss is loss. The feelings we feel are similar.
Its like when people with kids talk to people with pets and they talk about pets as their kids. It doesnt bother me, thats what you know. And honestly, sometimes, my 4 year old isnt much different than a dog anyway. People that get offended by that, imo, are self centered and lack empathy themselves
Agreed. I made an effort to meet new people and friends when destiny originally launched. We had a rocking clan that eventually tuned down into 8 core… then they slowly dwindled. Once we got below 6 and could raid anymore, no one wanted to make a new friend, so we all kinda fizzled out.
Proximity chat, or even team chat could have fixed so much of that
Default on lobby chat was insane too. Now you can block messages from non-friends and voice chat is opt in? But how will i ever know what those 12 year olds did to my mother?
Did anyone say that it was better this way? He could just go buy another yatch instead.
Dont let perfection be the enemy of better
I have a pair of soccer socks that have L and R. The seams and some extra padding are contoured to the foot
Was there another one??
The movies 26 years old. I work with people in my office who weren’t born in '99
their trades are public
Up to 45 days after the trade is made.
While not technically insider trading because they don’t work for the companies they’re trading, they definitely have access to privileged macro economic knowledge
Just fyi investorpedia is reliable. Ive personally never found incorrect information there.
Im not so sure id call schwab a conflict of interest exactly. They do provide the service, but financial institutions like that are not allowed to provide investing advice, so they cant upsell strategies like that. All they can do is explain it so that you know what strategy you want to pursue.
