How old is the switch? There will be someone you can sell it to who will be willing to try and fix it just for an easily moddable switch.
(Also needing to buy a switch this close to the switch 2 must be painful… all the savings that could have gone towards it…)

The reason they are quick to make it non political is not because of what you said, it’s because the last time something like this was made political in the uk it led to some of the worst riots the country has ever seen. The police are just being extremely careful so something like that doesn’t happen again.

Do you own the java edition? If you do then you get the windows version included, if you don’t, you don’t have much choice, it is probably impossible to pirate the windows version since it’s multiplayer is so locked down.
You’ll probably have to emulate android or buy it again to play on PC. At least you get java included! Yay?
Best way to run an instance for cheap is on your own hardware, but I would only do that if you are experienced with self hosting since it would require port forwarding (unsecure if done wrong)
