They have always engaged in that sort of petty bullying of their neighbours. It is in reality Russia being in a state of constant “cold” warfare against them, but they know that their neighbours won’t respond. A couple of days ago a Russian warship wouldn’t move out of the way of a Danish ferry inside Danish territorial waters (even though ferry lanes are clearly marked as such), causing the ferry to last minute swerve.

Russia consider this psychological warfare, creating chaos and confusion. The country is a tumor on mankind, spreading its own shittiness everywhere it can.

The bread and circus would need to go away first, so probably never going to happen.

I know it will come as a surprise to you, but by far the majority of people on the internet does not come from there. They don’t even come from the United States at all, western or not.

That is just such a useless relativisation of the issue. There are problems all over the world sure, but there are also varying degrees of these problems. The US is facing a lot of different problems than the EU for example. So just saying “that is just human nature” is self-defeating and wrong, because obviously some of the problems the US faces have been fixed, or at least mitigated, to a varying degree elsewhere.

Fascists loves when people just sit back and let themselves be exploited because they think that is the natural order of things.

There are definitely varying degrees as to how far that phenomenon has taken hold, and it has done so to a much larger degree in the US than in a lot of other countries. There is not really any point in trying to relativise this, it is not “business as usual”, this is radicalisation on a 1930s Germany level.

No you don’t. That is right wing propaganda completely unfounded by science. That porn addiction nonsense so many Americans babble about is a product of that propaganda, and doesn’t actually exist.

That is not really something you can say with certainty. Products you buy can easily have had materials or services from the EU involved somewhere in the production chain, and regardless of how far out in that chain they are, those tariffs will fall on you to pay as the end product consumer.

Also educated people tend to vocally disagree with fascists, so obviously fascists wants fewer of them around.

Plant the bulbs before winter.

You don’t need an acre of land. You can grow tomates in pots and keep them on your balcony (if it gets enough sun), even in a relatively northen climate, as long as it is the season. You will need to water them and prune them occasionally, but it is not really a lot of work. And it will keep you in tomatoes for several months. That is definitely cheaper than anything professional farmers can produce.

It will not replace storebought produce, but it is a very nice supplement.
