Do you mind clarifying what you mean is a problem? Are you saying kids with mild symptoms aren’t getting access? Or there are far too many kids accessing the special needs services than can be accommodated?

This is not a healthy friendship. This person does not have your best interests at heart. Distance yourself. Stop hanging out, stop messaging. Give excuses if you’re not comfortable telling them that you won’t tolerate their treatment of you anymore. Do not let them guilt you into staying in each other’s lives. They might see you push them away and try everything they can to pull you back in. Don’t give in. Real friends like to see you happy and want to build your confidence up. Go to events where people have similar interests to you and you will make better friends. Good luck!
Links to the recent Veritasium video on PFAS aka forever chemicals. Describes the story of how PFAS were discovered, including interviews from the lawyer that got Du Pont to settle with the farmer, and how he continued to press the industry but they kept finding ways to weasel out of responsibility for contamination of waterways and global air. The host tests his own blood for various types of PFAS and uses online PFAS estimators to help understand that where he was living for ~10 years had higher levels in the water, which tracks to the higher levels seen in his blood. There’s still PFAS in everyday consumer products - anything slippery or waterproof. They also interview someone researching PFAS filtration. Plenty more interesting bits in the video. Worth a watch.
