Anyone can label themself as a bot in the Lemmy user settings, sometimes users do so mistakenly
I waddled onto the beach and stole found a computer to use.

Note: I’m moderating a handful of communities in more of a caretaker role. If you want to take one on, send me a message and I’ll share more info :)

Your comments are tagged as being from a bot, was that intentional for this joke lol
I think you want a static site generator
We use Vitepress for https://fedecan.ca/en/
https://vitepress.dev/guide/getting-started
If you want to selfhost it, there is https://www.coolify.io/ , but imo you want something like GitHub pages/ Netlify since it’s for your business
What kind of fediverse features did you want for the website? You might be better off making accounts on fediverse platforms and linking to the website
This user commented about trying Watcharr earlier in this thread

I also see mentions of Ryot, Yamtrak, Simkl, Jellystat
A 2x price increase (or more for people who are on discounted or grandfathered plans) will likely get people to reevaluate if they really need the service. Based on the comments so far, it looks like a lot of people already have dropped it
This comment gives a good summary, but in short it lets you track what movies and shows you’ve watched / want to watch
It tracks watch history and allows you to build lists, in a way that should integrate with other services. How well it does that is questionable
Some people might still be using it out of habit or loyalty, but a $30 price jump might change that
The idea is that people can block what they don’t want to see. Some users/communities/instances are more open, and others are more closed off. There’s nothing stopping you from finding a place that aligns with what you want
If someone doesn’t want to interact with you, you’re not going to accomplish anything by forcing them to interact with you.
Check out [email protected], we have some pinned posts. You can also ask questions as you get them :)
In that case, that’s the giveaway
Yes, sorry about that
That lines up, the photos I saw were from 2021. Looking forward to seeing the old EB Games signs lol
Neat! Did all the EB Games disappear, or were they still around? I see some photos on Google maps that are listed as being from a few years ago.
I’ve been using threadiverse, but I prefer forumverse
It’s immediately clear what it’s referring to, and it leaves it open to other compatible platforms once they implement activity pub nicely. Being able to subscribe and post to official support forums from the forumverse would be a cool promo point
Also people refer to many things as “threads”. Conversations, comment sections, discord has threads. Forum is much more clear
Or “aggressive”
JAMP Pharma Corp., a Quebec pharmaceutical maker, is recalling one lot of JAMP-Pregabalin pain medicine because bottles labelled to contain 50-milligram capsules may contain 150-milligram capsules instead.
Health Canada announced the recall in an unusual Saturday evening statement.
The announcement said the company’s mix-up could lead to patients taking a much larger dose of the painkiller than prescribed, possibly resulting in an overdose that could “pose serious, potentially fatal health risks.”
JAMP-Pregabalin is an adult prescription drug. It is used to treat pain caused by nerve damage due to diabetes, shingles or spinal cord injury. It is also used to treat pain associated with fibromyalgia, Health Canada said.
The recall affects one lot of the 50-mg capsules bearing lot number 2305012747, which carries a 2026-08 expiry date, Health Canada said.
Health Canada stressed that taking too much pregabalin or suddenly increasing the dose could potentially lead to patients overdosing, which can be life-threatening.
The post seems to be missing the article link
Maybe this one?
It stopped doing that a few months back, but it still randomly asks every now and then. I wish Android could deny permanently
Briar comes to mind, although not directly related to self hosting or Linux
You might also find some of these answers helpful. Some of the services mentioned include Meshtastic, Briar, Kiwix
No problem, I’ve seen it happen a few times so I thought I’d ask 😄
